As the sun went down, Jett sat against a rock watching the Great River flow before her, is was a pretty sight to see. Lifting her gaze past the river she could see the castle in the distance, how she longed to become a great warrior, to travel and to find her father. Perhaps he was in the castle, and did not know he had a daughter.
Thinking about her petty life Jett got up, it would be dark soon and she didn't want to wonder alone at night. She set of to Corkford, her home town, where she lived in a back street, theiving her only way of living.

As she neared the river, the cool breeze seemed to give her chills. Pulling on the reins of her horse, Princess Lily came within arms reach of the river. She let out a sigh as she took her surroundings in. It never ceased to amaze her the beauty of the river, and yet the pure danger in which its depths held. She knew many of men that had entered, never to have made it to the other side.
Taking a deep breath she turned to start heading back to the castle. She knew the castle would turn to chaos if she did not return soon. The arrival of Prince Andréi of the Principality of Aquintus in a few days was the top priority at the castle.
She glanced back once more at the river, wishing she could stay out like she use to as a young girl. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted what looked to be a young lady. I wonder who that is out at the river at such an hour, she asked herself as she turned get a better look at the young lady.

Walking along the river side Jett watched it flow with ease, it had no cares in the world, nothing to stop it's pass, it could run through bridges with only some slight misadventure, and then go back into place like nothing had happened. She stopped again, I don't want to go back, it would be just as cold to sleep here, and i wouldn't have to travel back in the morning for a wash she thought. She then walked back to the rock she had just got up from and sat back down, the cool breeze being blocked by the rock she was quite content. I shall stay here tonight, it's just a safe as back in the town. When she looked up she saw a figure on a horse across the way, wondering what on earth someone who looked important would be doing at the river side at the end of sundown, she watched them, and for some reason she felt, as though they where watching her.
