Princess Lillian sat atop a rock, peering out about her at the sheep. Sighing she thought about how her life would have been different if only she had not been born into a royal family. Standing up she brushed some dirt of the bottom of her blouse as walked over to a patch of white flowers, picking one she brought it to her nose; taking in the fragrance with a sigh of delight. Looking up she saw someone watching her, unsure of who it was she acted as if she saw no one.

Watching Princess Lillian from behind a rock just outside of my hut, I couldn't help but notice how beautiful she is. Her long, dark hair twirling and brushing against her soft, pale cheeks. Her beautiful blue eyes, and the innocence that they possess. She had an aura of mystery about her, how could this gorgeous princess be capable of killing a man, or running a nation?

Lillian peered up, at what she now recognized as being a young man. Smiling softly she began to pick the petals off of the flower in which she still held in her hand. Once she had finished she dropped the freshly plucked stem onto the ground which was now speckled with white flower petals.
She could not recall having seen this young man anytime prior to this. However, she could not be sure from this distance. After a few moments of contemplation she reached down to pick another flower. As she brought the flower to her nose she peered once more at the man that watched her.
His eyes were what stuck her the most as they were an awe of red. She had seen nothing like them in Doven. I am sure I have never seen this man before, she had finally came to the conclusion as she took the aroma of the flower in.

Finally, I muster up the courage to go talk with the young girl.
"Princess Lillian," I say, as I gently bow down before her. "Would you care to exchange a few words with me? I would like to introduce myself."
She had a look of confidence in her eyes, which is a breath of fresh air, as I was feared by everyone in my homeland simply because of who my father was.

The mans voice was soothing as it reached her ears. Lillian watched as the young man bowed before her, the form lead her to suspect she was with Nobility.
She curtsied in return, "Of course you may." She replied in a soft, almost whisper. A smiled creased her face as she could now take in the appearance of this man. His eyes continued to captivate her. She could see it in his eyes that he was a warrior. A knight?, she pondered as she continued to assess the young man.
She had once again started to pick the pedals off of the flower in which she still clutched. It was more out of nervous habit than anything, however, this man did not seem to unsettle her nerves.

"Although I am not proud of where I come from, it is who I am. Please do not make any assumptions or judge me by my past," I manage to stutter out. I've always been nervous when introducing myself, as my people are viewed as barbaric, or savages, throughout the outlands.
"I am the former Prince of Borea, Ayren Bladestone. I was shipped away by my father, with instructions to never return to my homeland. I would be very gracious, and indebted to you, if you would allow me to set my homestead inside your kingdom."

Lillian did not respond right away. Ah! A Prince, that explains it, she thought to herself. She knew little of Borea on the other hand, only stories in of which she had heard from a few of the Knights. Borea, as she had heard, was ruled by a rather cruel and obviously heartless man. My father would never banish me from Doven, she taught as she squinted her eyes at the newly acknowledged Prince. It all brought many questions to mind as she fumbled through the endless ideas that began to accumulate in her head of how he had been instructed to never return to his homeland.
Lillian after a few moments of silences smiled, "Welcome to Doven Prince Ayren." She said with a curtsy. "As you are aware, I am Princess Lillian O'Connor of Doven. It is a pleasure to make your acquaintance." She spoke clearly, no longer in a soft whispering tone. She however did not respond to his inquiry about making Doven his homestead. She wanted to be sure of his loyalties prior to doing so.
"What has peeked your interest in Doven?" She questioned smiling all the same.

"Just the tranquility; you're not constantly at war. Don't get me wrong, I know you have your enemies, just nothing compared to what I'm used to." After I had said this, I realized I could almost be taken as being full of myself, so I quickly changed the subject.
"How is your father doing?"

She listened to him, taking in every word. Her skepticism not showing however as her smile held strong. It wasn't that she didn't want to believe him. It was more of a standard to be weary. Especially when she did not have her guards at toe.
He seemed friendly enough so she would continue on with the conversation. "My father, is very strong willed. He is doing just grand." She replied not wanting to give out to much information. She did not need a war on her hands.
"Where have you decided to preside here in Doven?" She asked as she peered behind him at the hut.

"You don't have to lie to me, it's general news that your father isn't doing too well. I know that you've been ruling in his absence," I said, in a kind voice.
"And I live in the hut right behind me, until I can find a better place to set up."

All his knowledge of Doven caught her off guard. How did he know so much?
She sighed and dropped the stem of the flower she had finished picking a few moments prior. "You seem to know a lot about Doven, Ayren," she laughed as her smile turned more into a smirk.
Lillian nodded after he spoke of the hut.
"Do you have any trades?" She questioned as she began to think of all the places that needed a bit of help.

"Not particularly. I hadn't really learned anything before I had to leave my homeland. I am a great fighter, but other than that I'm hopeless." I also told her all about my failed blacksmithing and mining abilities.
"Do you need any help around the kingdom?"
